Ha-Shilth-Sa – Nearly $9 million invested for guardian program training to protect territories

Vancouver Island, BC – Harry Brossault of Huu-ay-aht First Nation, a Wit Wak guardian for C̕awak ʔqin Forestry, features in this article about a new Guardian training investment recently announced by the Province. “The benefits of the funding, it’s also not going to just help the nation or industry, it’s also going to help the community,” said Brossault in the interview with Ha-Shilth-Sa.
