TFL 44 Management Plan #6
TFL 44, held by Tsawak-qin Forestry Limited Partnership (a limited partnership owned by Western Forest Products Inc. and a limited partnership beneficially owned by the Huu-ay-aht First Nations), covers roughly 140,000 hectares of land on west central Vancouver Island in the vicinity of Alberni Inlet and Great Central Lake. The Management Plan (MP) provides a general description, a brief history, a list of publicly available planning documents that guide operations, and a timber supply analysis for the TFL. The timber supply analysis provides information to assist the Chief Forester of BC in determining the allowable annual cut (AAC) for TFL 44 under the Section 8 of the Forest Act.
